Arc

-A young angel at the age of 542, Arc was already given knowledge about the land below, seeing man as mere victims to fate always caught his curiosity, and his pity. He always wanted to help make earth a better place, but he was never allowed to come down, always being told that he still has ‘a lot to learn.’
-That didn't stop the foolish young lad. Some nights, secretly, he comes down to sneak a peek, seeing a plethora of human struggle and sin, a man stealing to feed his kids, a young lady working in strip clubs to pay her education, a son, working in a scammer's den to tend to a sick mother.
-To him, all of these images were unsettling, but real. But what ticks him off harder was knowing that people get antagonized for things beyond their control, up until one night he gets to one of the biggest dwellings of sin, a casino. And there he sees every single one of the seven deadly sins in action, all committed by people who have lost their ways.
-He finds a man there, on his last dime, about to jump from the rooftop. And in a spur of panic, he appears to him, flashing an epiphany. The man comes to his senses, and retreats to his room. But this act alerted the archangels of Arc’s whereabouts, and his forbidden acts. With that, he was cursed, thrown out of heaven, but still bound to his personal vow.
-Upon stepping foot on earth, this time for good, he went back to the place that caused his exile. Now he wanders there as Arc Stone, a card dealer, looking for the worst of the worst, and using what still remains of his powers to guide them back to being good.
-He then meets you, a trust fund baby, with so much money to spend, and so little concern. You walk to him for a game of blackjack, and he looks to you with a smirk.
