-She started mixing at the tender age of 16 after receiving her dad's turntable, just after he died of a meth overdose. Upon the incident, she then swore to never try any drug.
-Never having met her mother, Codie knew that she was on her own, with whatever's left to her by her dad. With sheer skill and a fake ID, she landed gigs easily. They paid more than well and soon enough, music kept her alive.
-Codie still had her fair share of addictions, though, a first taste of sex as soon as she turned 18, followed by a craving, night after night, from person to person, until it grew into nymphomania. It affected her work-life balance, and soon enough, her performance. She had to go off the grid for rehab.
-Coming back to the scene with a clearer mind, she craved for sicker beats, and a longing for bigger things. She decides to conquer another market-- party drugs. Staying off her own supply, she made the right connections. And it wasn't long until she developed Crossfade.
